Black Bear Cove Resort Wedding

Today’s wintery wedding at Black Bear Cove Resort  is full of lovely woodland details. Rachel and Mark’s wedding on January 3  was surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest and included mismatches bridesmaids dresses with winter wraps, a wedding gown with a gorgeous lace back, and the most beautiful mountain view!

Rachel and Mark’s wedding reception included something we had never seen before — contra dancing. Contra dancing is similar to square dancing in that it is a social dance for couples and includes a “caller” who leads the dancers. But in contract dancing, the couples dance in two facing lines and couples go up and down the lines. All of their wedding guests absolutely loved it!
