Butterfly Gap Retreat Wedding

Today, we’re featuring a gorgeous Butterfly Gap Retreat wedding in Maryville, TN! Summer and Marc’s destination wedding was on July 25, 2015, and it was a gorgeous summer day at one of our favorite Knoxville wedding venues.

You may remember Sommer and Marc’s fall engagement photos in the Blue Ridge Mountains last year. Well, their wedding in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains was absolutely beautiful too, and the pond at Butterfly Gap Retreat during sunset was breathtaking!

Their wedding ceremony was inside the Pavilion, and their reception was at the Studio. The Studio is a unique reception space because it has four revolving walls that open to the outside. For their grand entrance into the reception, the walls were opened and they ran inside as they were being introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs!

Summer’s bouquet and their wedding flowers were by Lesley at LB Floral, and their wedding cake was by Sweet Beginnings by Elaine. The teacup on the top of their cake was Marc’s grandmother’s. Catering was by Bradford Catered Events, and Jim from Ogle Entertainment was their Knoxville wedding DJ. Peggy from Heels & Veils was their wedding coordinator.
