Cardinal’s Nest Wedding in Sevierville

The Cardinal’s Nest is one of the Great Smoky Mountains’ newest wedding venues in Sevierville, and we’re so thrilled to give you a glimpse of this lovely propert nestled in the foothills of the Tennessee mountains.

If you love the beauty of the lush green forest and rolling hills of East Tennessee, then you’re going to fall in love with this romantic venue. In collaboration with The Bride Link, The Cardinal’s Nest hosted a wedding inspiration shoot to kick off its spring season.

Among other Knoxville wedding photographers, we were invited to participate in the photo shoot, and we were so glad that we did! As we pulled into the venue, the pavilion stood beautifully in the field to greet us. With mountains and tall trees surrounding the property, it was as picturesque as a Thomas Kinkade painting.

Melissa Timm Designs provided the stunning florals for the shoot including two bouquets, a half-moon shaped ceremony arch, and reception decor including a tower of greenery draping over the table below. The venue’s wooden white ceremony chairs with brown leather seats perfectly complimented the spring vibe.

And a spring wedding isn’t complete without a touch of watercolor, right? A pink watercolor paper suite by Custom Love, 3-tiered cake by The Bee’s Knee’s Bakery, and multi-colored sorbet beverages topped off the wedding decor beautifully!

This spring inspiration shoot also included two brides and a groom. The bridal gowns from Lillian Ruth Bride were the perfect touch for an outdoor wedding. One of the gowns had lace sleeves with a champagne underlay and white lace overlay. The groom’s tuxedo by Regal Tuxedo included a classic black bow tie and suspenders.
