Chalk War Engagement Photos
Kristen and Dustin wanted to do something different for their engagement photos. Something creative, colorful and fun. So, Kristen’s idea of having a chalk color war at the end of their Knoxville engagement photo session was absolutely perfect!
We met Kristen and Dustin for engagement photos in mid-July on a hot summer evening at Meads Quarry near Ijams Nature Center in Knoxville. Dustin had spent all afternoon earlier that day grating chalk sticks into a fine dust, and they brought 5 colors with them for their chalk war! They both wore white t-shirts, and they had a blast throwing and blowing chalk onto each other.
These two are getting married at Dara’s Garden in late August, and we can’t wait for their wedding! They are such a sweet couple, and Kristen and Dustin are a perfect match. Kristen is a school teacher, and her whimsical and fun personality is the compliment to Dustin’s cool, calm, and funny personality! Peggy of Heels and Veils is their wedding coordinator, and it is going to be a gorgeous summer wedding!
