Gatlinburg Mansion Wedding
Today’s destination wedding at the Gatlinburg Mansion in the Great Smoky Mountains will leave you breathless with a stunning mountain view, sweet love story, windswept bridesmaids, and a ceremony complete with rocking chairs and the happiest recessional ever!
Alyssa and Rob and 32 of their closest family members and friends flew from Connecticut to the Great Smoky Mountains for a Labor Day weekend wedding. Her grandfather was there, and moments before she stepped into her wedding gown, he gave Alyssa a very special and priceless gift. He gave her a ring that belonged to her late grandmother. It was a very intimate and touching moment, and she wore the ring during the wedding ceremony and keeps it very close to her heart.
Both Ayssa and Rob come from large families, and they both have multiple sisters and brothers. All of their siblings were part of the wedding party. The bridesmaids wore mismatched flowy gowns, and the groomsmen wore gray vests with brown pants. Their friend was the officiant, and he married them on the back porch of Gatlinburg Mansion overlooking the mountains.
Not only is Gatlinburg Mansion on the top of a mountain, but it was a very windy day. The bridesmaids gowns were whisking in the wind in all directions, everyone’s hair was flowing around their faces, and Alyssa’s ribbons on her gown curled around her waist and danced around her body throughout the ceremony!
