Courtney and Andrew’s lovely garden wedding was at Ijams Nature Center on Sept. 29, 2012. Ijams Nature Center has a gorgeous wedding ceremony site surrounded by trees, flowers, and foliage that was like walking into a hidden garden — be sure to grab some tea or coffee as you walk through this wedding!
Courtney and Andrew were surrounded by their closest family and friends on their wedding day. Their small wedding ceremony made it intimate and personal. Courtney’s uncle officiated the wedding, her father spoke during the ceremony, and Courtney and Andrew chose to plant a tree instead of doing a sand ceremony or unity candle. They even had a few laughs at the alter — Courtney laughed so hard she almost cried!
Their reception at The Emporium in downtown Knoxville was full of dancing, bar-b-que from Sweet P’s, and live music by the Old City Buskers. Courtney and Andrew made homemade wine and bottled it for their wedding reception too!
Angie with Absolute Wedding Perfection coordinated their perfectly smooth wedding and reception, and Courtney’s lace gown from Wedding Wonderland with roses in her hair and her lovely bouquet by Lisa Foster Floral were breathtaking!
