One of the most beautiful things about our job is that after the wedding, we continue to follow the life stories of the couples we photograph. It’s like the wedding is just the beginning.

You may remember Autumn and Scott’s Charleston engagement photos and their jaw-dropping Magnolia Plantation wedding. So, when Autum and Scott reached out with the happy news they are expecting a sweet baby boy, we were over the moon excited for them! They are going to be the very best parents, we know that for sure.

So, we met them for a morning maternity photo session on the lake, and it was a gorgeous morning for photos. Autum wore a lovely off-the-shoulder flowy gown that looked gorgeous with her long curls and complimented the green backdrop of the forest. Then, she changed into a light blue gown that had the most beautiful sleeves that draped over her arms and whisked as she walked.

At the end of her maternity photos, she waded into the lake. Not only did it feel great to cool off in the water, but she looked gorgeous in the water! It was perfect for her summer maternity photos!

It doesn’t simply end at “I do” with us. We’re so blessed to continue capturing the next steps…from anniversary photos and maternity pictures, to family photos and more. Congratulations Autum & Scott!
