Magnolia Plantation Engagement Photos
If you love Charleston, today’s Magnolia Plantation engagement photos will whisk you off your feet! We met Autum and Scott for their Charleston engagement photo session last month, and we couldn’t have spent the day at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens with a sweeter couple!
These two live in Strawberry Plains, and they are having a destination Charleston wedding at the Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens next fall. During our afternoon on the plantation, we took photos at the Plantation House, in the gardens on the long white bridge, at the Carriage House, and more.
Their wedding ceremony next fall will be overlooking the Ashley River, and we can’t wait to photograph it! The Carriage House is surrounded by ancient live oaks draped in Spanish moss, and their reception will be lined by torches along the riverbank.
About Magnolia Plantation and Gardens
Founded in 1676, Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is the oldest public gardens in the United States. Located along the Ashley River, it was established by Thomas Drayton and his family. There are multiple wedding ceremony and reception locations throughout the plantation including the Conservatory, Plantation House Veranda, and Carriage House.
