Meads Quarry Engagement Photos

We’re so thrilled to share these Meads Quarry engagement photos in Knoxville with you today! We met Lauren and Andrew for their summer engagement pictures at one of our favorite locations. Located near Ijam’s Nature Center in downtown Knoxville, Meads Quarry has some of the most gorgeous earthy backdrops.

Meads Quarry originally opened in 1881 in downtown Knoxville and provided pink marble that was used in local and national monuments. Although it’s no longer a working quarry, it is now a public park and the pink marble cliffs are a beautiful backdrop for photos along the ice-blue lake and reflections in the water!
