Meads Quarry & Old City Knoxville
If you like a little bit of the city and a little bit of the country, then you’ll love Lauren and Jeff’s engagement photos at Meads Quarry and the Old City in downtown Knoxville. Lauren and Jeff are getting married in March at Bridgemore, and it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding at the elegant Farragut neighborhood clubhouse!
If you were to guess…..which one, Lauren or Jeff, is more city, and which one is more country? Jeff is more city, and Lauren is more country! They are an amazing match, and each perfectly compliments the other. So, it was only fitting that we included two locations for their engagement photos that bring them both together so perfectly! We met Lauren and Jeff first at the Old City in Knoxville for some urban downtown engagement pictures. We even found a lovely spot with the JPG building the background, too!
After we left the Old City, we traveled to Mead’s Quarry. The quarry originally opened in 1881 and provided pink marble that was used in local and national monuments. No loner a working quarry, it is now a public park and the pink marble cliffs are a beautiful backdrop for photos along with the ice-blue lake and reflections in the water!
