Norris Dam Wedding at the Amphitheater and Tea Room

Today, we’re whisking you away to Norris Dam State Park in Tennessee for Abbey and Caleb’s wedding at the Amphitheater and reception at the Tea Room. We have a very special place in our hearts for state park and national park weddings, and Abbey and Caleb’s is one for the history books!

This sweet couple has known each other since they were in school, and it was in the stars that they were going to spend the rest of their lives together. And so they said their “I dos” among the trees at the open air amphitheater on a Tuesday afternoon in May.

Typical with spring weather, a thunderstorm passed over the park 1 hour before their ceremony. Dark skies, thunder and buckets of rain fell before their ceremony. But then the sun came out and dried everything, and the sun was shining brightly for their wedding!

Not only are Abbey and Caleb perfectly matched, but we also see Abbey at weddings throughout the year because she works for Southern Belle Beauty. Capturing such a beautiful day for a such sweet couple that we know and get to see almost every weekend makes it even more memorable for us!

Norris Dam State Park Weddings

Norris Dam is located just minutes from Knoxville in Norris, Tennessee, with gorgeous lake access, forest, and natural backdrops. The heated and air conditioned Tea Room is a popular venue for weddings ceremonies and receptions, and an open air amphitheater is located across the street. The state park is more than 4,000 acres, with more than 800 miles of shoreline on Norris Lake.
