Smithview Pavilion Wedding

You will love this Smithview Pavilion wedding in Maryville, TN! Melissa and Jim’s wedding was Oct. 11, 2013. It was one of those beautiful fall days in Knoxville when the nights and mornings are cool and crisp, and the afternoons are warm and the sun glimmers through the patches of trees where fall leaves have already dropped.

You may remember Melissa and Jim from their cute picnic engagement photos we took last spring. Melissa’s wedding gown from White Lace & Promises was made of vintage lace, and her fall color palette included plum and white. Flowers were by The Flower Shop, and Lisa Spegman with Knox Planning Event Company was the wedding coordinator. Makeup was by Tony Williams, catering was by Abner’s Attic, and their wedding cake was by Chris Waltman.

Melissa and Jim’s friends and families were a blast, and they didn’t stop dancing at the wedding reception! Knoxville DJ Jim Ogle with Ogle Entertainment kept the music rocking all night long and provided the beautiful purple uplighting around the stone mantle. Ogle Entertainment and Light Design can truly transform the ambiance of an event venue, and you’ll love the uplighting at this wedding!

Smithview Pavilion

Smithview Pavilion is one of Maryville’s most popular wedding venues. It provides numerous options for outdoor wedding ceremonies, and a covered pavilion for receptions up to 300 people. The pavilion includes a kitchen, chairs, tables, linens, audio equipment, a fireplace, outdoor heaters, and an air-conditioned bridal suite. There was a fire burning all evening at their wedding, and it was beautiful in the stone fireplace. It is a gorgeous wedding venue in Blount County, and Lisa Gibson at Smithview Pavilion and Event Center is fabulous to work with!
