Wedding at The Swag

We are thrilled to share one of the loveliest fall weddings with you today – Travis and Lauren’s wedding at The Swag in Waynesville, North Carolina. This sweet couple is from Chattanooga, and they traveled to the private mountain bed and breakfast for their planned elopement.

This gorgeous earthy and intimate wedding was on a cool fall afternoon. It rained earlier in the day, and then it cleared up moments before their ceremony. Right before they kissed at the end of the ceremony, a huge gust of wind drifted by and all of the trees swayed and orange and yellow leaves floated to the ground.

Known for it’s breathtaking mountain views, the rain held off long enough for us to go to Gooseberry Knob for panoramic views. We were 5,000 feet in elevation, and the fog lifted enough so we could see the sun peeping through the clouds and beaming onto the mountains.

Lauren’s bouquet was by Four Seasons Florist in Waynesville, and her gown was by Martina Liana.

Abut The Swag

The Swag is a private Smoky Mountain bed and breakfast in Waynesville, North Carolina, just outside of Asheville. It is located along the Cataloochee Divide, a huge ridge that forms one of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park’s boundaries. Not only has this private mountain inn garnered a large collection of awards, it was named to Country Living’s “20 Best Places for Leaf Peeping.” So, not surprisingly, the fall colors were stunning for Travis & Lauren’s wedding!
