The Standard Knoxville
The Standard Knoxville is one of downtown’s recently popular wedding venues. Built in 1930 for the Standard Wilson Glass Company manufacturing, it has recently been refurbished for weddings and events. Tracy and Jimmy’s fall wedding on Oct. 20, 2013, at The Standard was among one of the first weddings at the new venue, and it was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon!
Tracy and Jimmy are both nurses and they met while working together. One of the coolest groom’s cake we have ever seen was Jimmy’s heart shaped cake by Magpies Bakery. It literally looked like an anatomical heart! The stars were aligned for this sweet couple, and they are meant to be together! Their lives kept crossing paths over the past few years before they started dating. When they finally began dating, they both knew they were meant to be together!
Music and uplighting was by Ogle Entertainment and Lighting, and flowers were by McLemore Florist. Catering was by Jeana Atchley, and her wedding gown was broom David’s Bridal.

Bridal Portraits at The Standard Knoxville
The week before their wedding, we met Tracy for bridal portraits at The Standard Knoxville. The window light at The Standard is fabulous, and Tracy was absolutely stunning! Makeup was by Tony Williams.
