Jefferson Vineyards and UVA Engagement Photos
We’re excited to share these Jefferson Vineyards and UVA engagement photos in Charlottesville with you, especially this weekend! Not only is Charlottesville rich in history, but the University of Virginia (UVA) was founded by Thomas Jefferson, the main author of the Declaration of Independence and the third United States president.
Karen and Scott met while attending UVA, and we’re photographing their Charlottesville wedding next weekend. We met them at Jefferson Vineyards, where they often watch the sunset with their dog over the Virginia mountains. Jefferson Vineyards is located near Thomas Jefferson’s home, Monticello. Jefferson gifted the vineyard’s land to an Italian wine maker in the 1700s.
After visiting Jefferson Vineyards, we went to the university campus. UVA was founded by Thomas Jefferson in the 1800s, and the buildings and structures around this historic campus are just beautiful! Scott and Karen took us to gardens surrounded by curved brick walls, the Lawn, and even showed us the room Edgar Allan Poe resided in when he attended the university!
Charlottesville is such a beautiful area with gorgeous wineries, views of the mountains, and history. Enjoy these Jefferson Vineyards and UVA engagement photos!
