Cades Cove Elopement at the Wildlife Overlook
Many couples like Mollie & Trent choose to get married in Cades Cove because of the sweeping views of the Great Smoky Mountains that surround it. You can stand in the middle of the cove and have 360-degree views of layers and layers of Appalachian Mountains all around you.
When Mollie first reached out to us about her wedding, she said, “We want simple, beautiful pictures of our big moment. Just the two of us.” So, we suggested the Wildlife Overlook in Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. One of the most beautiful and epic locations in the cove, it provided a gorgeous backdrop for their destination elopement. And with the added dark clouds in the sky, it was even more stunning!
Mollie’s ivory gown was as beautiful as it was unique. With flowing sleeves and lace, it was perfect for their destination wedding. And paired with her natural white and green bouquet and his navy suit, it was perfectly their style and exactly what they wanted for their wedding day together in the Smokies.
“Doubly happy, however, is the man to whom lofty mountaintops are within reach.” – John Muir
