Cades Cove
Today, we’re thrilled to share Olivia and Seth’s fall wedding in one of our favorite wedding locations in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park – the Missionary Baptist Church in Cades Cove.
These two got married on a mid-November day in the historic white church sitting on a hill with wooden pews that squeak when you sit down, and old wood plank floors that creak when you walk down the aisle. During their ceremony, the sun shined through the windows and the fall colors dappled the mountains across the cove.
Olivia and Seth met in the laundry room in their college dorm and were together for 6 years before getting married at the Missionary Baptist Church in Cades Cove. As we were walking towards the Abrams Falls trail, Olivia and Seth said they hoped there would be fall colors for their wedding. We looked up, and a golden tree was smiling at us!
