Cades Cove Wedding at the Primitive Baptist Church
This Cades Cove wedding at the Primitive Baptist Church is full of all the best wintery details – fur wraps, snow flurries, snow capped mountains, snuggles and laughter. Madisyn and Tyler’s wedding in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was on New Years Eve, and they rung in the new year as the new Mr. and Mrs.
The couple and their guests all drove to Tennessee from Alabama. It was below freezing all day, and the tops of the mountains were covered in snow. Everyone was bundled up in layers and snuggled together on the wooden pews in the church as Madisyn and Tyler said their vows. They had a “ring warming” as part of their ceremony, and it was literally the most appropriate ring warming ceremony we have experienced!
After the ceremony, we drove around the Cades Cove loop and stopped at various locations with the bride and the groom. There was a snow storm rolling in, so the views of the mountains in the distance were white with snow.
