Dancing Bear Lodge Wedding

Nestled in the foothills of the Smokies sits one of the most beautiful mountain wedding venues – Dancing Bear Lodge. Tucked away in Townsend, Tenn., also known as “the peaceful side of the Great Smoky Mountains,” Kristen and Chris got married in mid-October as the trees were beginning to change colors in the fall.

These two met while working together at the Apple store, and you may remember their engagement photos at Greenbrier in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. On their wedding day, they were surrounded by their closest friends and family members who all traveled from out of state. Their destination mountain wedding in the Smokies was one for the books!

Kristen and her bridesmaids got ready in a cozy cabin next to their ceremony site, with their breathtaking gazebo and event lawn all within a stone’s throw. The reception pavilion is conveniently located across the ceremony lawn, where guests were served a delectable dinner family style by the Appalachian Bistro. Ogle Entertainment provided the music and guests danced as the sun set over the mountain estate.
