Foothills Parkway Elopement
Today, we’re sharing elopement photos at one of our favorite locations in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park – the Foothills Parkway. We met Melissa and Patrick on a sunny November afternoon for wedding pictures, and they brought their two adorable pugs with them!
We love it when couples are able to incorporate their dogs into their wedding, engagement photos, and photo sessions. We are huge dog lovers, just like Melissa and Patrick, so we had a blast with this family of four.
Melissa and Patrick got married before traveling to Tennessee, but they wanted to take wedding pictures in the Smoky Mountains. With the amazing scenic views at the Foothills Parkway, it was the perfect location for them.
Even though we met them in November, Mother Nature was on our side, and there were still fall colors speckled across the mountains. We were amazed at how late the fall colors were in the Smokies this year, but it worked out for Melissa and Patrick!
About the Foothills Parkway
The Foothills Parkway in Tennessee is one of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park’s most beautiful and scenic locations. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon drive, stargazing, or a summer picnic. But, it’s also a jaw-dropping location for elopements and intimate weddings – with overlooks, a waterfall, and the newly completed “Missing Link.” If you’re thinking about having a Smoky Mountain wedding or elopement, the Foothills Parkway should be on your list.
