Foothills Parkway – National Park Elopement
Madison and Sean’s elopement on the Foothills Parkway in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park was on one of the most beautiful “smoky” evenings of the summer! The mountains were gorgeous with pockets of fog drifting across, and the warm orange sunset at the Missing Link was the perfect ending to the most perfect smoky mountain elopement!
When Madison first contacted us in April, she said, “I had a full 100 guest wedding planned….Due to COVID-19, plans have drastically changed. A lot of our family lives in Puerto Rico and Wisconsin, and at this point many will not be able to attend and there are so many unknowns. With everything that is going on, we truly don’t want to wait any longer.”
So, within a month, they planned their wedding and we met them and their family on the Foothills Parkway in late May. Chuck O’Connor with Sensational Ceremonies officiated, and the couple stood in awe high atop the Smokies.
“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.” – John Muir
