Maryville College House in the Woods Wedding

Today, we’re sharing Raeann and Ernie’s wedding at the House in the Woods on campus at Maryville College. Built in 1917 this beautiful house is in a secluded area in the college’s woods and has a labyrinth in the back yard.

We love weddings at private homes and historic estates, and we fell in love with the House in the Woods! This beautiful venue includes suites for the bride and groom, an outdoor ceremony site, and indoor reception area.

Ernie works at a bicycle shop, and he brought his Schwinn tandem bicycle to their wedding! They are such a fun couple, and Raeann got on the back of the bicycle while Ernie drove.

Raeann’s friend, Kristin Hatten, designed the bouquets and centerpieces, and she also was the wedding coordinator. Raeann baked homemade pies for dessert, and catering was by Sweet Pea’s. Raeann’s lovely gown was from David’s Bridal, and we loved the lace back and cap sleeves!
