Knoxville Wedding on Melton Hill Lake

Where do we start with Annalee and Josh’s Knoxville wedding on Melton Hill Lake at her parent’s home. How about the cedar forest that her grandfather planted 30+ years ago, and the Native American blanket that Josh’s family gave them to signify their new life together. The ceremony cross that her family built, the tears they gently wiped away while reading letters to each other after their first look, and the afternoon spent together with their families overlooking the Tennessee mountains.

The wedding day for a bride, groom, and their families is full of emotion. Everything from butterflies in your stomach to happy tears and the purest joy & excitement we’ve ever seen. I mean, you’ve imagined this day for years and you’ve spent months and months planning it. So, if Mother Nature throws a kink in your plan, you make a game time decision and adjust the sails when the wind changes, right? That’s exactly what Annalee and Josh and their families did.

The morning of their wedding, it was forecasting 100% rain. So, Southern Belle Beauty kicked it into high gear, we bumped up her first look with dad, first look with Josh and pre-ceremony photos by 4 hours! Was it worth it? Heck yes! And this couple and their friends and families were all on board to make the best day possible for them. We all successfully worked around the droplets of water falling from the sky, and Annalee & Josh were able to spend most of their wedding day together.
