About the speaker:
Kathleen Atkins is one-half of the Knoxville-based, husband-wife photography team that is JoPhoto. Since 2008, Kathleen has managed JoPhoto’s brand identity and leveraged social media to create and significantly raise the profile of their wedding photography company among brides in East Tennessee. Shooting over 45 weddings per year, Kathleen and Joe have witnessed the intersection of the power of online marketing among females in their 20s and 30s, which includes blogging, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and others. With more than 14 years of experience in public relations and marketing, Kathleen has worked for Knoxville Zoo, the University of Tennessee, and is currently the marketing & PR manager for PerfectServe, a healthcare technology company. Kathleen has a master’s degree in public relations and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from The University of Tennessee.
