Legare Waring House Wedding

Today, we’re sharing these Legare Waring House bridal portraits at Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site with you! Erin’s wedding was on Saturday in Charleston, and we’ve been dying to share her bridal portraits!

This lovely bride and her husband live in Charleston, so we met her for bridal portraits at Legare Waring House. Known for its ancient avenue of oaks, historic antebellum style home, and lagoons, Legare Waring House is the perfect location for weddings and bridal portraits.

Her wedding gown included a gorgeous lace and tulle overlay with a beautiful sheer back including pearl buttons. There were layers upon layers of tulle that flowed in the breeze and danced behind her as she walked. One of her bridesmaids on Sunday said she looked “ethereal,” and we completely agree!

Bridal hair and makeup was by Lashes and Lace Charleston, and her bouquet was by Kala at MOD Events. Erin added white ribbons and lace to the bouquet, and it whisked around in the breeze!

The historic home is located at Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site. It was the location of the first permanent European settlement in the Carolinas, and it was built in the 1840s. Today, Legare Waring House is a Charleston wedding venue with a gorgeous avenue of oaks, fountain patio, indoor bridal suites and groom’s quarters, both indoor and outdoor wedding reception facilities, and more.
