Lost Creek Falls & Cave Wedding Inspiration

Tennessee is full of amazing natural creations. Everything from epic mountain views and hidden caves, to jaw-dropping waterfalls. With more than 500 waterfalls throughout the state, we set out to explore some of middle Tennessee’s most popular waterfalls: Ozone Falls, Lost Creek Falls, and Rock Island State Park.

Each waterfall we visited was unique and beautiful in its own way, and today we’re going to share with you the beauty of Lost Creek Falls & Cave. This waterfall and cave lives up to it’s name….perfectly lost in the middle of Sparta, TN, and it’s worth every minute driving to one of Mother Nature’s most beautiful creations.

When we arrived, we were surprised at how easy and quick it was to get down to the waterfall and cave from the parking lot. They are both very close together with a 0.2-mile hike, and it only took a few minutes to walk down to the 60-foot high picturesque falls. We were also surprised that we were the only people there!

About Lost Creek Falls & Cave

Lost Creek Falls & Cave are part of 200 acres that were donated to Fall Creek Falls State Park. It’s one of the largest caves in Tennessee, with five entrances, and seven miles of mapped passages. The beauty of this area attracted the Walt Disney Corporation in 1994 to film several scenes from the “Jungle Book” at the area, utilizing both the beautiful Falls and the Cave entrance.
