Maple Grove Estate Wedding
Maple Grove Estate is one of our favorite Knoxville wedding venues, and we’re thrilled to share this spring wedding with you today! You see, Abbie and Matt’s original wedding plans fell through during the pandemic because the Georgia resort closed where they were going to get married. So, they went into plan B mode and decided to keep it local to Knoxville.
As they were looking for a wedding venue to move their wedding to, they fell in love with Maple Grove Estate, quietly tucked away and full of southern charm and beauty. They knew it was going to be THE place for their wedding.
And so, on their wedding day, the sunlight glistened through the trees during their garden ceremony, and candles flickered as they laughed with their families at the reception. It was perfect for their intimate wedding, and the day was just a beautiful as the couple.
Knoxville Weddings at Maple Grove Estate
Maple Grove Estate has a long history in Knoxville, Tennessee. Built in 1799, the 10,000 square-foot historic home sits on 15 acres on Westland Avenue in west Knoxville. It was a wedding venue in the 1990s and early 2000s, and we photographed weddings there before it closed. Since then, the Shankles family purchased the estate, and they have been very hard at work renovating and updating the property. Today, with the new owners, the estate is open again and it’s being renovated, rejuvenated, improved, and updated! It is now open for weddings and events, and we couldn’t be more excited for this picturesque and southern gem to be available for Knoxville brides and grooms.
Congratulations Abbie & Matt!
