Spence Cabin Wedding in Gatlinburg

Nestled on the bank of the Little River deep in the forest of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park sits the cutest pink cabin named Spence Cabin. One of our favorite Smoky Mountain wedding venues, Alyssa and Jonathan traveled from Kentucky to Tennessee to have their intimate ceremony at Spence Cabin on a Monday afternoon at the end of July.

With the river flowing behind them and their family and friends surrounding them, Alyssa’s father officiated the ceremony, her mother was her Matron of Honor, and her sisters were bridesmaids. Their wedding ceremony was on the rock platform behind Spence Cabin, and their reception was at the Appalachian Clubhouse.

Alyssa’s wedding gown and veil perfectly complimented her in the national park. She walked down the aisle with her veil over her face, and Jonathan lifted it up before they kissed at the end of the ceremony. Then, the adventurous newlyweds hiked through the forest, climbed up on a freestanding rock chimney, and walked across boulders in the river.

Spence Cabin was the perfect place for their nuptials, and it couldn’t have been a more memorable and special day for the new Mr. and Mrs.!
