Knoxville Bridal Portraits at The Quarry
The week before Ashley and Andy’s Knoxville wedding, we met her at The Quarry venue for bridal portraits. We could spend hours and hours at The Quarry exploring, climbing boulders, and hiking through the acres and acres of forest they have there. And Ashley was game for everything, including climbing an antique wooden ladder propped against a 3-story high rock wall and walking across a fallen tree 5-feet in the air. This adventurous bride left no stone unturned! (pun intended)
Ashley’s wedding gown from Loveliest was beautifully made with beading and a stunning v-neckline with a flowy cathedral veil. Her gorgeous locks were styled by the talented Claudia Nicole Hair, and the blooming white and green organic bouquet was from Kroger Florist.
We always love it when brides choose to do a bridal portrait session before their wedding. Not only is it the perfect opportunity to take photos in a relaxed atmosphere, we can take photos at various locations throughout their wedding venue (or a completely different location than their wedding venue). It’s also the perfect opportunity for the bride’s hair and makeup trial run, and it also gives them the chance to wear their gown and get used to the fitting (walking, sitting, etc.) before their wedding day.

The Quarry – Knoxville Wedding Venue
One of Knoxville’s newest wedding venues is in an old rock quarry. The Quarry Venue is located off Northshore Drive in west Knoxville. It has multiple ceremony locations and epic photo backdrops including “The Canyon” with 100-foot soaring walls and a 25-foot waterfall. Its heated and air conditioned industrial reception building, The Terrazzo, also has a covered porch. Once known as The Marble City, it is an old quarry known for its pink marble. This Knoxville wedding venue is currently booking weddings for 2018.
