Elopement at The Swag

We love earthy and intimate weddings, and this elopement at The Swag in Waynesville, North Carolina, will take your breath away! Lauren and Jason are from Atlanta, and they traveled to the private mountain bed and breakfast for their planned elopement on July 11, 2016.

Their summer afternoon wedding was at Gooseberry Knob with the most amazing panoramic views! We were 5,000 feet in elevation, and after their ceremony the mountains were slowly enveloped in white clouds.

Lauren rode from their cabin to the ceremony in a white safari style Land Rover. Jason had the biggest smile when he saw her come out of the Land Rover and walk down to meet him for the ceremony! After their ceremony, they sat in the adirondack chairs overlooking the mountains an enjoyed a glass of champagne and their wedding cake!

About The Swag

The Swag is a private bed and breakfast in Waynesville, North Carolina, just outside of Asheville. It is located along the Cataloochee Divide, a huge ridge that forms one of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park’s boundaries. From the main lodge, you are steps away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! This private mountain inn was named to Country Living’s “20 Best Places for Leaf Peeping.” So, not surprisingly, the scenic mountain views are amazing!
