William Aiken House Wedding in Charleston
These William Aiken House wedding inspiration shoot was in Charleston at the Bliss & Bokeh wedding photography workshop. Kathleen attended Bliss & Bokeh in September, and this William Aiken House wedding shoot was part of the workshop.
The bride and groom in these photos was a real-life couple who had just gotten married two weeks prior to the shoot, and the bride wore the same gown she wore on her wedding day!
The entire team of wedding professionals who contributed to this shoot were amazing! Despite the rainy day, we were able to shoot inside the house, under the porches, and in between drizzling rain with the couple in the back yard.
About The William Aiken House
The William Aiken House is a historic Charleston wedding venue that was built in 1810. It was a location for the film, The Notebook, and it has a 200-year-old magnolia tree draping across the back yard. It’s a beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception venue in Charleston. The yellow walls and black and white checkered floor at the main house along with the black and white Carriage House all add to the southern charm of this historic home.
