Knoxville Courthouse Elopement

Marichu and Mat have been together for more than 10 years. So, when they decided to elope on March 9, they began looking at all the courthouses across Tennessee. When they found the Old Knox County Courthouse, they immediately fell in love with its beauty and history.

So, they traveled from Memphis, all the across the state of Tennessee, to elope in Knoxville and spend a couple of days downtown enjoying everything that Knoxville has to offer. Little did we all know that within just a few short days, the pandemic would begin and everything would be closed.

It couldn’t have been a more gorgeous day for their Knoxville courthouse elopement – trees were blooming and flower petals were flying through the air with each gust of wind! They even hopped on a Knoxville trolley for a few fun photos that represented their destination elopement.
