Stephen and Lydia’s wedding was at the Historic Bleak House on March 16, 2012, in Knoxville, and it was amazing! From Lydia’s hair and cute blue shoes, to their fabulous wedding cake by Sugarbuzz Bakers, purple and yellow flowers by Lisa Foster Floral, Calhoun’s catering, and awesome live music by Eugene Johnson and The Swingtets — everyone at their Bleak House wedding had THE best time!
Lydia and Stephen are a super-sweet couple, and their families and friends were just as sweet and so much fun! The entire day, Mother Nature was teasing us with the possibility of rain. And despite the fact that it rained for only 15 minutes that day, it began raining during their wedding ceremony processional! Lydia and Stephen didn’t care one bit, and their wedding guests were smiling and laughing under umbrellas on the lawn of the Bleak House during their ceremony!
Andrea McKee with McKee Occasions was their wedding planner, and she was fabulous! Everything was perfectly coordinated, and Andrea was such an awesome person to work with the entire day!
Eugene Johnson and The Swingtets provided live music at the reception, and they were such an awesome band! If you are looking for a great live band in Knoxville – The Swingtets are it!
So, to sum up Stephen and Lydia’s wedding in one word — we would most definitely say it was “amazing!”
