The Carriage House Wedding in Jefferson City
Today, we’re taking you to The Carriage House in Jefferson City for a lovely winter wedding that took place the weekend before Thanksgiving! Charlotte “Charlie” and Jake’s November wedding ceremony was at the historic Hebron Presbyterian Church, and their reception was at The Carriage House.
When you envision a little white church sitting on the side of a country road with a farm across the street, the Hebron Presbyterian Church is exactly that! It’s the cutest country church with green shutters sitting in Jefferson City. Founded in 1875, the church is nearly 150 years old. As Charlie and Jake walked out of the church through hundreds of bubbles blown by their guests, the most gorgeous orange sunset was in the distance. It couldn’t have been more picturesque.
After their ceremony, they celebrated at The Carriage House with cozy candles, a hot dinner, and music and dancing by Corey with Music in Motion. It was perfect for their late November wedding!
When Charlie first reached out to us, she said, “Jake and I met in college my freshman year. We dated three and a half years before getting engaged. Jake has been playing professional baseball in Europe for the past three years, so I had the chance to travel with him a little bit. Last year, while Jake was playing in Sweden, we took a trip to Amsterdam. He proposed in a beautiful historic church in the city center.”
