Jackson Terminal Wedding in Knoxville

Today’s Knoxville wedding at Jackson Terminal is one for the books. Katrina and Preston got married on July 22, 2017, and it was the most perfect summer wedding in East Tennessee. Not only was it a sun-kissed day, but they were surrounded by their closest families and friends who celebrated with them until the wee hours of the night.

Katrina and her bridesmaids got ready at Cook Loft in downtown Knoxville. One of our favorite spaces for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready, Cook Loft is spacious, full of character with exposed brick, and full of natural light from walls of windows.

After we left Look Loft, Katrina and her maids went to Jackson Terminal, where she and Preston had a first look. It was one of the sweetest first looks because the moment Preston turned around and saw her, he was all smiles, all day long, ear to ear.

Lesley with LB Floral designed the most gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces, while Elaine with Sweet Beginnings by Elaine provided her yummy wedding cake and cupcakes.

Jackson Terminal is located on Jackson Avenue in the Old City, so it is central to many great photo spots that are also shaded in the heat of summer, thanks to the tall buildings.

This sweet duo said “I do” at St. John Lutheran church, and we cannot say enough good things about this church and their staff. Not only is it full of gorgeous dark wood and stained glass windows, but the staff are more than gracious and love all of the couples and their wedding guests.

After their ceremony at St. John Lutheran, Katrina and Preston danced the night away to a live band at Jackson Terminal. Katrina is a professional dancer, so she was on the dance floor all night long, twirling i her gown and laughing with all of their friends. It was a night we won’t ever forget, and we’re so happy for the new Mr. & Mrs.!
