Jenna and Jeff’s wedding at the Knoxville Botanical Garden was Aug. 18, 2012, and it was overflowing with DIY details and Alice in Wonderland wedding inspiration! Jenna is super-crafty – she is the ultimate DIY queen! And when she told me that she made everything for the wedding, it was no overstatement.
She hand made all the bouquets and bouttonierres with key and clock accents, she embellished her lace wedding shoes with rhinestones, decorated the trees at the ceremony with ribbon and glass jewels, made all of the table centerpieces with vintage tea cups and glass jars, and made a whimsical photo booth for all the guests with fun hats and masks! No stone was left unturned by this Knoxville DIY bride, and she certainly doesn’t need to follow directions to make all of her beautiful creations. Although, Doorknob in Alice in Wonderland did say to “Read the directions and directly you will be directed in the right direction.”
Jenna’s hair was gorgeous, with blonde curls like Alice, thanks to the amazing ladies at Bliss Salon. And Jeff and all his groomsmen were handsome in their gray suits! Catering for the fabulous affair was by Simply Southern Catering, and the Mad Hatter of DJs himself was Jim Ogle with Ogle Entertainment.
Oh my ears and whiskers, how late it’s getting! Now, let’s get along with it, shall we? We don’t want to be late for a very important date!
