Knoxville Winter Wedding at The Standard
This Knoxville winter wedding at The Standard is one of the most romantic, intimate wedding ceremonies we have experienced. Jerrin and Colt got married on Dec. 9, 2017, in downtown Knoxville, and they were literally surrounded by their closest friends and families in the form of a circle for their intimate ceremony under a sparkling chandelier with wall-to-wall white drapery.
This sweet duo is anything but ordinary. To say their love, their lives, and their style are anything short of unique, memorable, and sentimental would be an understatement. And so, in the true fashion of their relationship and reflection of themselves as a couple, Jerrin and Colt’s ceremony was an enclosed circle of friends and family standing around them as they said “I do.” It was the most intimate ceremony with 100+ guests that we have experienced, and it certainly isn’t one that we will forget.
Jerrin and Colt first met when they were teenagers, in the neighborhood where they lived. Over the years, their paths took a few turns but eventually led them together. Jerrin said, “It all began over 10 years ago with a teenage boy zooming around the neighborhood in his golf cart….As he increasingly came over to our house to hang out with my sister and her friends, Colt and I quickly formed a friendship. Not only did he and I form a friendship, but he instantly became beloved by my entire family. Even as the years passed and we went through different milestones in our young adult lives, our friendship continued to grow and mature.”
Even after all those years of knowing each other and dating, this couple’s love, excitement and emotion on their wedding day was obvious. During their first look, Colt turned around and saw Jerrin for the first time in her gown and started crying. With tissues in their hands, they wiped each other’s tears and laughed as they embraced.
One of the most unique, stylish, and flattering wedding gowns we have ever seen, Jerrin’s gown was custom made by Alon Livne from Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City. Her stunning hair was by Geo Hair Lab, and her makeup was by Claire Balest.
After their wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed a plated meal by Knox Mason. This romantic candle lit reception was full of laughter, hugs, and dancing with Jim Ogle of Ogle Entertainment as the DJ.
