Las Vegas Valley of Fire Wedding Photos – WPPI Workshop
Last week, Joe & I flew out of Knoxville and attended a huge wedding photography conference in Las Vegas by WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International). Over 16,000 photographers from around the world convened for the week-long event at the MGM Grand Hotel.
It was our first time attending WPPI, and we had a blast learning from the world’s top photographers (Jose Villa, Jasmine Star, Zach & Jody Gray, Bambi Cantrell – oh yea, we were in heaven!), meeting other husband-wife teams like ourselves, and losing a little bit of cash in the slot machines…we never win at those things!
The last day of WPPI, we attended a styled desert wedding shoot at Valley of Fire State Park. Brittany & Mike of Brushfire Photography (an awesome husband-wife team from Arizona) coordinated and hosted the shoot with Scheme Events designers, A Milestone Paper Company, and Flowers of the Field. The models were gorgeous, the vintage details were amazing, and Valley of Fire was an awesome backdrop for our Tennessee eyes!
