This wedding at The Lily Barn in Townsend, TN, is overflowing with DIY details and rustic vintage loveliness! Not only was Suzanne and Jordon’s summer wedding on July 28, 2012, full of handmade details, lace, and laughter, but it was all at a unique wedding venue at the base of the Smoky Mountains. And Suzanne and Jordon were surrounded by friends and family who made the most of the day — laughing and enjoying every minute of it!
Suzanne is one of those super-creative women who can do anything, make anything, and make it look so simple and easy at the same time! She “whips up” beautiful creations in no-time, and to everyone’s amazement! Etsy beware — this bride puts Martha Stewart to shame! Suzanne hand made all of the groom’s bow ties and boutonnieres, her lace gloves and broaches on all of the wedding bouquets. She and Jordon also created their wedding invitations, all of the table centerpieces, a photo booth backdrop, and designed their entire wedding and reception, including accents from Vintage Southern Event Rentals.
Their wedding coordinator was Crystal of Foundation Events, wedding cake by Magpies Bakery, hair by Belleza Salon, catering by Miss Lily’s Catering, flowers by Kroger Marketplace, and Suzanne’s gown was by Vera Wang from David’s Bridal.
