Middleton Place Wedding Inspiration
We’re so excited to share this Middleton Place wedding inspiration in Charleston, SC, with you today! Last month, during our trip to Isle of Palms and Charleston, we spent the night at The Inn at Middleton Place. During our stay, we made the most of our time on the plantation.
And as any wedding photographer would be tempted to do, we did a small wedding inspiration shoot around the grounds of this beautiful southern plantation!
Middleton Place is a Charleston wedding venue with multiple gorgeous ceremony locations overlooking
the Ashley River and the plantation. It also has free roaming sheep that are often seen on the front lawn of the plantation grazing under the huge oak trees covered in spanish moss.
Last year, Middleton Place was named one of the top 50 romantic wedding venues in the United States. Built in 1755, it is also home to America’s oldest landscaped gardens.
This wedding inspiration photo shoot includes navy and gold accents with a soft peach and white floral bouquet by Lesley at LB Floral with Froufrou Chic ribbon. Hair and makeup was by Kim at Vanity Salon, and the lovely model was from Dime Model Management.
Enjoy this Middleton Place wedding inspiration!
The Inn at Middleton Place
During our time in Charleston, we spent a night at The Inn at Middleton Place. The Inn has gorgeous views along the Ashley River, the rooms have floor-to-cieling windows, and it is nestled among the tall pines and live oaks. With 55 rooms, the Inn at Middleton Place is a peaceful and relaxing getaway! It’s located next to Middleton Place, with a short 5-minute walk to the gardens and museum. Here are a few photos we took around the inn and plantation during our stay in Charleston.
