Moose Hollow Lodge Wedding

Right in the middle of the Smoky Mountains sits a grand cabin and wedding venue called Moose Hollow Lodge. It was the perfect setting for Brittany and Joe’s intimate October wedding with their closest friends and families.

This sweet couple traveled from Kentucky to Tennessee for their destination wedding in the mountains. It was a gorgeous Saturday afternoon with bursts of sunshine between the white fluffy clouds that drifted across the sky.

Brittany’s flowy two-piece gown was from Loveliest in Knoxville. The skirt danced as she walked, and the light fabric swayed in the breeze on top of the mountain where Moose Hollow Lodge sits. Southern Belle Beauty did her impeccable hair & makeup, and she wore a simple organic crown of greenery.

Before their wedding, Brittany and her dad had a special moment together when he saw her for the first time in her wedding gown. As he walked in, you could see the love in his face. Brittany then looked down at his tie, and said “I picked that out when I was a little girl!” He confirmed it was the same tie she picked out, and said he wanted to wear it that day because it was so special to him.

After Brittany saw her father, she then went outside and saw Joe. Their first look was on a small trail in the forest behind Most Hollow Lodge. Surrounded by the green trees and lush forest, his eyes opened wide and his eyebrows went straight up the moment he saw her. She was so gorgeous, it took his breath away!

Their wedding ceremony took place in an indoor chapel that is attached to the lodge. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside overlooking the mountains, and then the ceremony site was used for their reception.
