RT Lodge Maryville Wedding

Erin and Jack live abroad in Greece, and they were planning on getting married in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. However, when the pandemic began, they flew home to the states as soon as possible, fearing they would not be allowed back in the country if they waited any longer and the pandemic got worse.

Then, their wedding venue in the national park cancelled their wedding due to park closures. Heartbroken, they began looking for option B – an intimate ceremony in nature with just their family and closest friends.

When they found RT Lodge in Maryville, they knew it was perfect. They could have a woodland ceremony, Zoom with their friends all around the world to celebrate, we could go to the Foothills Parkway in the national park for bride & groom photos, and then return for an intimate al fresco dinner as the sun was setting.

You know the saying, “When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.” That’s exactly what this sweet couple did.
