RT Lodge Wedding

Talk about serious spring wedding envy! Sarah and Ethan’s RT Lodge wedding in Maryville, Tenn., was overflowing with the prettiest blooms, soft spring colors, and a warm sun-kissed day. These two got married on March 30, 2019, and you wouldn’t have known by the looks of it that it was still March!

Spring is one of those beautiful seasons in East Tennessee when everything becomes new again – the birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming, the grass is vibrant green, and everyone is outside again after a dreary cold winter. That’s exactly what Sarah and Ethan had on their wedding day.

Sarah and Ethan’s woodland wedding ceremony and reception was one for the books, and Megan Connors Floral and Styling provided the prettiest cathedral style wooden arch and adorned it with dozens and dozens of spring blooms. With 150+ of their friends and families in attendance, everyone cheered when they said their “I dos” and kissed.

Jim with Ogle Entertainment was the DJ, and the new Mr. and Mrs. danced the night away under the Sperry tent at RT Lodge filled with flickering candles, the scent of fresh cut flowers, and the most delectable dinner by the lodge’s most amazing chef.

RT Lodge

RT Lodge is a Knoxville area wedding venue in Maryville, Tenn. Nestled in the forest near Maryville College and in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, it is one of our favorite woodland wedding venues. Not only is it a Knoxville wedding venue, but the lodge also offer accommodations and a restaurant. With multiple ceremony locations, one of the most popular ceremony sites is on the lawn behind the lodge. Cocktail hour was on the back porch next to the pond stocked with koi fish, and their reception was under a tent on the back lawn.
