Sampson’s Hollow – Smoky Mountain Wedding
This wedding at Sampson’s Hollow was on a sunny spring afternoon. Sampson’s Hollow is a Smoky Mountain wedding venue in Walland, TN. Justin and Megan’s wedding was May 6, 2013, and their families traveled from Virginia and West Virginia. It was a destination wedding in the Smoky Mountains!
The springy wedding ceremony was in a large field with the gorgeous Smoky Mountains as the backdrop! She had a lovely yellow bouquet full of roses, and their wedding was full of yellow accents including Justin’s tie and their vintage cake with yellow roses. Justin’s brother hand made the most amazing cupcakes, and the Smoky Mountain wedding was complete with ice cold Coca-Cola in glass bottles!
Sampson’s Hollow is a Smoky Mountain wedding venue and farm that has been owned by the same family for over 130 years. Located in Walland, TN, near Townsend and Cades Cove, it has a cabin with an indoor reception area, bridal suite, honeymoon cabin, and wildflower meadows. It also has a small two-story barn where they could climb up to the top and open the barn doors – such a cute wedding picture!
Carole is the wedding coordinator at Sampson’s Hollow and she is fabulous to work with! She keeps the wedding venue running like clockwork, from flowers and food to ceremony music and the couple’s grand exit!
We always enjoy photographing weddings in Townsend, Cades Cove, and Walland because the Smoky Mountains are so gorgeous all year. Spring weddings such as Megan and Justin’s have lovely wildflowers, summer weddings are full of lightning bugs, fall weddings have leaves of a million shades of orange, and winter weddings have beautiful white snow!
