Lucy and Blake’s wedding was at the beautiful Dara’s Garden on June 7, 2012, in Knoxville, TN. Dara’s Garden is one of our favorite wedding venues in Knoxville. Every wedding we photograph at Dara’s is amazing, and Lucy and Blake’s wedding was certainly no exception!
Lucy and her mother planned the lovely spring wedding with purple, pink and white accents, and their wedding ceremony was at the gazebo at Dara’s Garden. Lucy and her mother hand made the bouquets and bouttonnierre’s, and the aisle for the wedding ceremony was lines with flower petals.
Lucy and Blake saw each other before the wedding by having a “first look” — a moment together, just the two of them, where they were able to see each other and enjoy the moment. By having a “first look,” we were able to take all wedding photos before the ceremony (couple pictures, wedding party photos, and family pictures), and Lucy and Blake went straight to their wedding reception and joined their guests after the ceremony. Their wedding is the PERFECT example of how many amazing photos you can take when you have a “first look” and see each other before the wedding! Plus, they were able to enjoy more of their wedding day together!
