Gatlinburg Event Center Wedding

Winter weddings in the Great Smoky Mountains are always gorgeous with snow covered mountains and the cozy warm feeling of being tucked away in the forest in January. This is exactly what Courtney and Danny were going for when they decided to travel to Tennessee for their destination wedding at the Gatlinburg Event Center.

When Courtney reach out to us about her wedding, she said “We have been together for 5 years. We’re best friends, and I’m so ready to marry him! We met in college, and he’s from Ireland and I’m from Memphis.”

And when we said it was a destination wedding for them, it truly was for Danny’s family. They traveled all the way from Dublin, Ireland, to Gatlinburg, Tennessee!

Their wedding ceremony was inside in front of a huge wall of windows overlooking the mountains. The sun was shining through the windows and cast a beautiful shadow on the floor of Courtney holding her bouquet.

Their first dance was surrounded by candles and fairy lights, and guests danced the night away! The couple left through a tunnel of sparklers and were whisked away for their honeymoon.

Weddings at the Gatlinburg Event Center

Located in the Smoky Mountains, the Gatlinburg Event Center is an indoor and outdoor wedding venue with views of Mt. LeConte and Greenbrier Pinnacle. High atop a mountain and tucked away in the forest, The Gatlinburg Event Center hosts weddings year round with a heated and air conditioned ceremony and reception hall, bridal suite, and groom’s room. In addition to the event center, it also has two mansions available for overnight accommodations.
