Fall Wedding at Greenbrier
Hayley and Tyler’s fall wedding at Greenbrier in October was one of the most magical autumn days in the national park with leaves falling around us almost as fast as the river was flowing! With the breathtaking autumn backdrop the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, their ceremony on the bank of the Little Pigeon River was officiated by her grandfather, and the guest list only included their immediate families, best man, and maid of honor.
After the ceremony, Hayley’s grandfather gave her a letter written to her 10 years ago before her grandmother passed away. It was written to Hayley for her wedding day from her grandmother. Everyone wiped their tears as Hayley read it aloud. Her grandmother closed the letter with the exact same phrase Hayley ended her vows to Tyler: I love you to the moon and back.

Greenbrier Weddings in the Smokies
The Greenbrier area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is on northern side of the park, and it is near Pittman Center just outside of Gatlinburg on the banks of the Little Pigeon River. It is generally not very crowded with less traffic. There are three wedding locations in Greebrier: #1, #2, and the picnic pavilion. The approved wedding ceremony locations are on the banks of the Little Pigeon River, and there is an abundance of beautiful backdrops for wedding photos including the river, forest, wooden bridges, and large rocks in the river.
Great Smoky Mountains National Park Wedding Photographer
We are authorized Great Smoky Mountains National Park wedding photographers, and the park is a beautiful destination for mountain weddings, elopements, and photo sessions. If you live in Knoxville, Maryville, East Tennessee, or you are traveling to Gatlinburg, Sevierville, or Pigeon Forge from out of state, then you know how gorgeous the national park is for photos. We have the permit required to photograph weddings in the park, and we visit the park dozens of times each year to photograph weddings.
