Smoky Mountain Wedding at Spence Cabin
We’re kicking off this week with Niels and Jessica’s wedding at Spence Cabin in Elkmont in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This sweet couple got married on Monday, May 22, 2017, and we’re suckers for week day weddings in the mountains!
Jessica anad Niels currently live in Arizona, but she is from Goodlettsville, Tenn. So, they traveled back to Tennessee for their intimate wedding with their immediate family. With a total of 8 wedding guests, both Niels and Jessica’s mothers had special readings during the ceremony. As the Little River was flowing behind them, this duo said “I do” surrounded by the best that mother nature has to offer.
Jessica’s flowy wedding gown and organic bouquet perfectly complimented the forest backdrop. Her wedding band was her grandmother’s, and she was also at the wedding. She twirled in front of the rock fireplace in Elkmont, one of the last standing remnants of the park’s recent demolition project.
- Officiant – Reverend Emily Dameron
