Smoky Mountains Wedding at The Magnolia

Kay and James are from South Florida, and knew they wanted to travel to the Great Smoky Mountains for their wedding. They found The Magnolia Venue and instantly fell in love with the mountains, the view, the venue….everything.

You may remember their fall engagement photos on the Foothills Parkway that we took last fall. During that visit to Tennessee, they selected The Magnolia as their wedding venue.

When their wedding day arrived on May 4, it was just as gorgeous as they had dreamed. Sunny, warm, and full of laughter and friends! Their bridesmaids, groomsmen, and families flew in and drove from multiple states across the southeast to Gatlinburg for their destination wedding.

One of the highlights of the evening was James ad Kay’s first dance. They worked with a dance teacher and choreographed their first dance, complete with a dramatic dip at the end with the mountains in the background!

The Magnolia Venue

The Magnolia wedding venue is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. With both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremony and reception options, it offers year-round facilities for brides, grooms, and their wedding guests. The Magnolia is one of the Smokies’ newest wedding venues, complete with a bridal suite, outdoor porch overlooking the mountains strung with hundreds of cafe lights, and an elegant grand ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows with roll-up doors on each side.
