Foothills Parkway Fall Engagement Photos

One of our favorite seasons on the Foothills Parkway is fall. During the months of October and November, we are on the parkway multiple times every week for weddings and engagement sessions slowly watching the leaves change color. The fall colors vary each year depending on many factors such as the amount of rain and temperature, and the sunsets are always different depending on how many clouds are in the sky.

When we met Kay and James for their Foothills Parkway fall engagement photos on Nov. 13, the colors and sunset were amazing! With rich browns and oranges, the fall colors in the Smokies were perfect! There was even some water trickling from the waterfall!

Kay and James are getting married next summer at The Magnolia venue high atop Pigeon Forge overlooking the smoky mountains. We can’t wait for their destination mountain wedding!

About the Foothills Parkway

The Foothills Parkway in Tennessee is one of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park’s most beautiful and scenic locations.
